Weekendesk is seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Head of Business Development to drive significant growth and innovation across our platform.

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with Weekendesk's overall growth objectives.
Lead the entire business development lifecycle from prospecting and negotiation to implementation and ongoing relationship management.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distribution partners to increase Weekendesk's booking volume and brand visibility.
Optimize existing distribution partnerships for maximum performance and mutual benefit.
This includes, but is not limited to, partnering with insurance providers, exploring advertising/sponsorship opportunities on our platform, leveraging our highly qualified audience for targeted promotions, and identifying other synergistic collaborations.
Lead the identification and development of new product offering (categories of stays, gift formats etc) to ensure that Weekendesk’s offering is meeting customer demand
In close collaboration with the marketing team, conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential new categories of short stays to launch (e.g., Evaluate and define strategies for entering new geographic markets, including market entry requirements, competitive analysis, and partnership opportunities.
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing business development team.
Manage team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new partnerships secured, operating margin generated from new initiatives, and expansion metrics.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Tech, VP of sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and successful execution of business development initiatives.
Represent Weekendesk at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Proven Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a similar growth-focused role.
Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and scaling business development teams.
Highly skilled negotiator with a proven ability to forge mutually beneficial partnerships, navigate complex deal structures, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
Strong Project Management Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from conception to execution, including setting clear objectives, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of new initiatives and partnerships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure performance.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and with a high proficiency level in French. Spanish is a plus.
Hybrid work model : 3 days at the office, 2 remote + 10 home office days per year (work from anywhere in Europe within a 1-hour time difference)
