What you will be doing As a WM&I; Controller Director you will assist the WM&I Global Head of Finance in his/her duties.
You will support across multiple fronts:
Assistance in reviewing and controlling official financial statements and budgeting process, ensuring accurate financial assessments.
Develop, perform, and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures.
Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate current results, forecast performance, and variances to plan, forecast, and budget.
Develop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, launching and managing WM&I planning exercises ('xxB; P-XX; S-YY').
Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for stakeholders.
Understand the Wealth Management & Insurance financial process and become an active participant in its management.
Analyze and report on financials and partner with Head of Finance to collaboratively manage relevant gaps and new reporting requirements.
Assist with periodic forecast and budget creation for business leadership.
Understand and follow internal control policies and procedures relating to program actual expense tracking and reporting.
Assist in management information and be responsible for developing and maintaining management information systems.
Directs and implements the strategy to be followed by the teams in charge of analyzing with a global vision and explaining the high-level evolution of the entity's Business / Activities and anticipating its evolution.
Experience 15 years of experience as finance manager in a similar position at corporate level.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Economics, ADE or similar discipline.
Skills & Knowledge Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Spanish & English communication skills.
Good understanding of financial planning and Santander governance methods.
Ability and experience managing Management Information systems.
Languages Spanish
