Lear is looking for a Global Mechanical Engineering Director experienced in the design and development of highly complex electromechanical components. Your main role will be to lead a cross-regional team in charge of the Mechanical design for all Lear Electronics products.
**Your** **main** **responsibilities** **will** be**
- Lead a Global Mechanical Engineering team for Lear’s Electronics Product portfolio.
- Drive Innovation and continuous improvement in discipline practices. Define the state-of-the-art discipline development process technologies and methodologies.
- Develop and build a highly motivated and skilled mechanical engineering team.
- Manage effective and efficient staffing of programs.
- In cooperation with HR, define recruitment, training and retain strategies to build a highly talented mechanical engineering team.
**To be a success in this role you must have**
- Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- +10 years of experience in developing HV Electronic products.
- Strong leadership skills and experience leading integral teams.
- Solid knowledge of automotive applicable standards & processes (i.e. ASPICE, ISO 26262)
- Knowledge of industry related tools (i.e. JIRA, DOORS, Subversion)
