DEPARTMENT/TEAM: Marketing & Communications
SUMMARY
• Manage a small team of graphic designers and a project manager based in Gibraltar/Spain• Help devise, plan and execute the company's marketing strategy. Regularly connect with corporate business plans to ensure consistency• Devise and execute campaigns, based on market trends and analysis, to optimise Peninsula's market impact and product sales to customers
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand Peninsula’s market-place, key competitive advantages and devise creative content to continually improve brand positioning and help contribute to commercial success
• Deliver exceptional marketing materials (brochures, videos, presentations, advertising campaigns etc.) to directly assist our global commercial teams and further enhance the company’s central PR initiatives with all stakeholders
• Plan manage and control budget on all marketing activity e.g. conferences, trade shows, promotional events, company parties etc.
• Drive future-focused initiatives to help position company in the media and with external stakeholders e.g. sustainability campaigns
• Lead Marketing Team inside Peninsula and act as a ‘point of reference / expert’ in advising internal stakeholders on all marketing matters
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors degree (or better) in Marketing or complementary subject
• Demonstrable experience in a commercial Marketing environment, preferably Oil & Gas, Energy or similar commodity based industry
• Specific digital marketing experience
• Outstanding people skills and strategic thinking ability
Desirable
• English is the primary language but ability to speak Spanish is desired
• International business experience (ability to work with multiple cultures) is preferred
