Project : Development of high temperature electrolysers (HT-SOEC)
HT-SOEC project is a recently launched ambitious project to develop a first prototype of a solid oxide electrolyser for the production of green hydrogen in the kW range. The project is granted by MICINN (Programa Energa e Hidrgeno Verde) and different local Governments of Autonomous Spanish Regions. The Project partners are Universidad San Pablo-CEU (Madrid) Nanoscience and Materials Institute (Aragn) National Centre for Renewable Energies (Navarra) and Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Madrid) .
We are looking up to one Predoctoral researcher with a Degree and Master in Chemistry Materials Science or Engineering. The selected candidates will be integrated in the ESYMAT group at CEU San Pablo University ( ) being also involved in different tasks between all partners.
The researcher will undertake a thesis project for ca. 3 years that will include :
* Synthesis : Ceramic precipitation sol-gel combustion hydrothermal and microwave assisted hydrothermal.
* Structural characterization : X-ray diffraction neutron diffraction and electron diffraction.
* Electrical and electrochemical characterization of SOFC and SOEC materials : ac impedance spectroscopy and dc methods.
