The Role
We seek talented individuals to join the Veeva Business Consulting group in R&D, a key area for Veeva. We collaborate with senior stakeholders from top pharmaceutical companies to define and realize strategic value in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations, and Quality & Safety (e.g., Pharmacovigilance).
As a Consultant, you will manage workstreams on consulting projects for Veeva customers in R&D—planning, organizing, and tracking all aspects of delivery. You will analyze problems, develop solutions, and build strong relationships with customer stakeholders through face-to-face discussions, workshops, and email, delivering sustainable value at the forefront of digital and R&D innovation.
Opportunities are available across Europe for this remote role. There is no fixed work location requirement if the candidate is near an airport and can meet travel needs. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the EU (including Switzerland) and the UK.
What You’ll Do
* Lead workstreams in project engagements: planning, organizing, managing scope, quality, resources, risks, and timelines.
* Design, build, and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
* Identify and proactively address customer problems.
* Serve as the primary client contact for operational questions, fostering relationships through various communication channels.
* Manage and mentor Associate Consultants.
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
* Provide industry, market, and functional insights to clients.
* Contribute to business development and proposals.
* Develop and share thought leadership.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree with excellent academic record.
* 2+ years of consulting experience.
* Strong Life Sciences background with interest or experience in R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations, or Quality & Safety.
* Understanding of R&D technologies and Veeva platforms.
* Knowledge of digital health and life sciences industry trends.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Leadership qualities and project management skills.
* Ability to facilitate collaboration and communicate effectively in English and local languages.
Nice to Have
* Post-graduate qualifications (Ph.D., MD, MBA).
* Experience with digital technologies, SaaS solutions, and multilingual skills.
