**SPACE SYSTEMS ENGINEER**

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a space system engineer; **with passion in what you do**, talented and experienced; to lead our Mission Control Center team and help build the future of space technology.
You will be part of a great team and you will be involved in different small satellite missions within the **Systems Engineering and AIV Area of the company**. This area is responsible for carrying out all tasks related to the extraction of user requirements and their transformation into a final product, mission analysis and design of **space systems **as well as their integration and final verification, including all the necessary tests.
**What you will be doing?**
- Analysis of user/client needs and development of various mission concepts that fit their requirements.
- Preparation of mission and technical specifications.
- Orbital and mission analysis.
- Development of mission analysis tools.
- Design and definition of space systems architectures that allow the implementation of previously proposed mission concepts.
- Analysis of system performance in terms of power, communications capabilities, mass, thermal, etc.
- Selection of the physical components that will implement the selected architecture.
- Manage internal and external interfaces with all mission elements.
- Interaction with all the company's technical teams and with external stakeholders (launch suppliers, clients...).
**What do we need in our team**
- Applicant must speak fluent English.
- Two years of experience in space missions with small satellites/cubesats.
- Some experience with thermal and/or mechanical models and simulations.
- Knowledge of the Systems Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of technical software tools such as: ANSYS, ESATAN, STK, SolidWorks and SPENVIS.
- Knowledge of Python.
Valuable knowledge:
- Practical experience in assembly, integration and testing of nanosatellite missions; operations
- Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards.
- Some experience with ADCS and propulsion subsystems.
- Project Management courses or certifications.
- Work remotely 60 % of the time
