In this role you lead a team of project managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with commercial, engineering, and operations teams to ensure clean gate execution and strong PMO performance. You shape project outcomes by focusing on KPIs, risk management, and stakeholder communication. This position offers impact across multiple sectors and opportunities to contribute to Flowserve’s sustainable, innovative mission.

• Direct a team of project managers and project execution staff across multiple sectors
• Motivate the team to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Monitor and improve project quality, delivery, and cost to meet/exceed expectations
• Oversee day-to-day project execution from order reception to closeout
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on contracts, change orders, budgets, and communications
• Track main project KPIs (OTD, RTM, Gate Quality, Change Orders, Documentation OTD, milestone billing, cash collections)
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely gate execution
• Promote accountability and ongoing training for career growth
• Use PMO metrics and daily management to monitor performance and manage capacity
• Mitigate risks, address issues, and ensure on-time project billing with Finance for forecasts and cash collection
• Support onsite meetings, testing, and customer interface management
• Escalate issues promptly; adhere to defined project behaviors and governance
• Other duties as assigned
Responsabilidades
• BS or BA in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years in a Project Management team
• Proficiency with MS Project Professional (schedule logic, resources, critical path)
• Experience with Phase Gates under PMO standards
• Change management experience per PMO standards
• Knowledge of project cost controls (ITD, FTC, EAC, LDs)
• Experience creating/presenting project reviews and dashboards
• Experience managing major EPC projects locally and internationally
• Willingness to travel to Flowserve or customer sites
• Strong English communication, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
• Ability to balance day-to-day leadership with strategic objectives
