With AI‐powered tools and a fully owned payroll infrastructure, we support every worker type in 150+ countries—helping businesses scale smarter, faster, and more compliantly.Key Responsibilities Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities aligned with Deel's strategic objectivesBuild and maintain financial models to assess transaction economics and investment returnsPerform company valuation analysis including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and football field valuationsSupport due diligence processes including financial, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal analysisAnalyze target company financial statements, revenue models, and cost structuresPrepare internal investment materials, financial analyses, and decision-support presentations for leadershipAssess cross-border tax structures, payments infrastructure, regulatory licensing requirements, and legal entity implications of potential acquisitionsCoordinate closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product teams during transaction evaluationSupport negotiation and structuring of acquisition transactions in collaboration with internal and external advisorsDevelop integration plans for acquired businesses across financial reporting, systems, and operational processesAlign acquired entities with Deel's accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and internal controlsSupport integration of financial systems, ERP structures, and reporting processesMonitor post‐acquisition integration progress and identify operational or financial risksIdentify process improvements and operational synergies following acquisitionsMaintain documentation and analysis supporting strategic transaction decisionsQualifications 4–7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisoryStrong financial modeling and valuation experienceExperience building DCF models, multiples analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and football field valuationsUnderstanding of cross‐border tax considerations, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworksLegal and tax background is preferred; CPA qualification is a strong advantageStrong analytical and problem‐solving capabilitiesAbility to manage complex cross‐functional projectsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsTotal Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
