Position
Event Dishwasher – Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio de Barcelona – Cataluña 2026 (June 6‑18, 2026) – Barcelona, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using manual and automatic dishwashing equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and organisation of clean items in their designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including work surfaces and floors.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and detergents as needed.
- Assist in the disposal of food waste and recycling in accordance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy event periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
- Respond promptly to any additional cleaning requests from kitchen staff or event organisers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a high‑volume restaurant or event setting is preferred.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Goal‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting efficiency targets.
- Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and workflow is advantageous.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
