Job Description:
An opportunity for a Commodity Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Commodity Management area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the entry point to the company for commodity management (by product/service by commodity). Implement and improve commodity strategy. Implement the Acquisitions policy. Perform market analysis (global sourcing, including offsets). Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc.) and contract management. Contribute to monitoring and improving supplier performance: - Identify and lead value creation projects and support product/service innovation; - Maintain long-term relationships with suppliers; - Guarantee risk management.

* Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
* Experience: At least 3 years in the area.
* Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business, and in a networking mode.
* Languages: Advanced level in English.
* Technical knowledge: Programming in C#, advanced level of CATIA.
* Valuable / Nice to have: Experience in automotive; a master's in X will be valued.
