Role OverviewThe DIS Product Developer Expert will collaborate with key partners to identify needs and develop tools to improve data accuracy, including reports, dashboards, and delivery mechanisms. The Data Management Specialist Expert will translate these needs into analytics requirements, build, and test data accuracy products to help maintain data quality reported by Experian’s data furnishers.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, code, and implement programs in Python and other languages for software systems, including PC and Web applications.
Identify and resolve application, database, and programming issues.
Support integrated applications through understanding system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
Translate business needs into clear data analytics reports.
Manage key client projects, ensuring timely delivery.
Retrieve data from various sources, organize it visually and structurally, and deliver products on schedule.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in data analysis and software development.
Proficiency in Python and SQL (including DB2 and MySQL).
Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehouses, or analytical tools (e.G., Tableau, Alteryx).
Experience with AWS services (e.G., Athena, Glue, SageMaker).
Knowledge of C#, Java, or similar programming languages.
Ability to create comprehensive dashboards/reports from diverse data sources.
Strong critical thinking skills related to business problems and data quality issues.
