**Business Analyst Intern - EMEA Marketplace & Business Intelligence**
Short description of the role
E-commerce is both growing rapidly and redefining the way we shop and buy. In the online space, 3P Marketplaces are the new “digital shelf”.
This role will be a part of the European Channel Digital Sales and Retail Experience Team that operates at the intersection of HP’s category, sales, digital marketing and content specialist teams, where you can make your mark on this very visible and important role to the business.
**Primary Function**
What a Marketplace and Business Intelligence Intern does at HP:
We are looking for energy, teamwork, curiosity, willingness to learn and desire to elevate the performance of HP products into the online marketplace selling motion.
Your primary focus will be to support the team in charge of digital shelf management and business intelligence tools to ensure an effective optimization of HP representation into 3p marketplaces. You will oversee new marketplace deployments, creation and implementation of new KPIs for HP programs, best practice adoption, platform optimization and HP marketplace catalog management.
- Manage and integrate external partner data: Assist with data flows from multiple sources into systems like Power BI.
- Support BDMs and leadership with analysis: perform detailed analyses to help understand business performance and identify opportunities.
- Improve tools and processes: Share ideas to enhance dashboards, reports, and workflows. Help identify opportunities to simplify or automate tasks.
- Optimize digital shelf tool activities & processes for every marketplace in scope to have a proper visibility of the main digital metrics
- Keep up to date with marketplace best practices, content management systems, marketplaces algorithms and industry research
**Skills, Experience, Education, & Training**:
Critical requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor/Master's degree - Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field
- Proficiency with Excel and Power Point
- Self-directed with a passion to continue to learn and grow, embracing the continuous improvement approach (define-measure-analyze-improve-control)
- Ability to work with global teams across multiple countries
- Very strong teamwork orientation
- Fluency in English
Desired but not required knowledge or capabilities:
- Any other EMEA language will be a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Project management
- Interest in paid search advertising
- Interest in product category principles (4P: Product, Price, Placement, Promotion)
