(Senior) Engineer (m/f/d) Mechanical Pitch & Yaw — Nordex Group, Sarriguren, Chartered Community of Navarre, Spain
Responsibilities
* Support Nordex service in fleet assessments for pitch & yaw components
* Analyze the operation performance of the pitch & yaw systems
* Investigate, develop and implement potential improvements for the reliability of the pitch & yaw systems in coordination with System Leads and Component Responsible
* Develop Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in coordination with other Engineering Departments and Service Department
* Techno-commercial evaluation of improvement measures
* Manage technical projects related to reliability, quality or costs
* Support DFMEA development and quality assurance
Your Profile
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree
* 5+ years in the wind turbine sector, specifically with pitch and yaw systems
* Knowledge and experience about pitch and yaw systems:
bearing, gears, lubrication
* Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies preferred
* Good communication skills
* Comfortable to work in multi-national, multi-cultural teams
* Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
* Ability to manage projects and to work as a team with good analytical skills, plus flexibility and dynamism in task execution
* Fluent English;
German and/or Spanish skills are a plus
