About the Role
We are looking for an AWS Platform Engineer (CDK / Serverless / IaC) to support our engineering teams in designing, maintaining, and evolving cloud infrastructure in a faster, more secure, and standardized way.
You will work with AWS CDK–based "productized building blocks" (level 2.5 constructs) that abstract AWS primitives into secure, reusable components. Your role will focus on helping teams migrate their existing infrastructure to CDK, improve deployment processes, and ensure stable and secure production environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role with strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, AWS serverless architectures, and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with AWS services and ecosystem
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- AWS CDK (key requirement)
- CloudFormation
- Serverless architectures
- TypeScript (used for Infrastructure as Code)
- Solid DevOps experience (CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, configuration management)
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Good understanding of software deployment lifecycle and production environments
- Experience redesigning application infrastructure or architecture
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and application architecture using AWS CDK
- Support engineering teams in adopting internal CDK building blocks xbhjioe
- Migrate existing infrastructure from other IaC solutions to AWS CDK
- Maintain and evolve serverless environments
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, compliance, and observability
- Perform operational tasks related to deployments and production environments
- Safely modify infrastructure code with minimal risk to production systems
- Collaborate closely with application teams to support the full deployment lifecycle
