JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Design Engineer Marine, you will be part of the Engineering team headquartered in Granada. You will report to the Design Engineering Manager based in Granada. The production of the Marine segment takes place in Mill, the Netherlands. You will work closely with colleagues from abroad.
As a Design Engineer Marine, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning, calculating, designing, developing, testing, and validating or modifying mechanical concepts or systems.
* Identifying and selecting components, materials, parts, and semi-products appropriate for mechanical & thermal system design.
* Creating mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate mechanical design concepts.
* Maintaining technical product files.
* Analyzing existing development procedures and suggesting improvements.
* Upgrading the design of existing concepts.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
* Background in Chemical / Material or Naval Engineering.
* Related experience in the Naval sector, understanding of heat transfer.
* Experience working with Rules & Guidelines from different Classification societies.
* Knowledge or experience with Siemens NX or other design software like Catia, SolidWorks, SolidEdge is a plus.
* Good English skills: B2-C1.
