About the role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with existing customers in the Netherlands and drive new business acquisition.
In this role, you will focus on:
* 75% Account Management: Strengthening relationships with current customers through cross-selling and up-selling.
* 25% New Business Acquisition: Following up on leads, closing deals, and onboarding new customers (no cold calling required).
Key responsibilities
* Engage with enterprise clients to support their business needs.
* Cross-sell & Up-sell our products and services to grow client accounts.
* Follow up on leads, convert prospects, and ensure smooth onboarding.
* Provide excellent customer experience from initial contact to final sale.
* Collaborate with support & product teams to meet client needs.
* Maintain high service standards, meeting key metrics for Sales, Quality, and Productivity.
* Represent the company at industry events like ICANN and CloudFest to build relationships and generate new business.
What We’re Looking For
* At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in IT/Tech industries.
* Experience in the domain/web hosting industry is a plus.
* Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
* Experience with CRM tools (preferably HubSpot).
* Proactive with a commercial mindset to identify market opportunities and build trust.
* Customer-centric with strong communication skills.
* Results-driven and sales-focused.
* Energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic about sales.
* Resilient with persistence to overcome rejection.
* Active listener with empathy and problem-solving skills.
* Confident negotiator capable of closing deals.
