Overview
We’re currently looking for an experienced Low Voltage (LV) Commissioning Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team delivering high-quality on-site services across complex power distribution projects.
This role involves commissioning, diagnostics, and technical support for low-voltage systems, working on critical infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance of electrical installations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning and startup of low-voltage equipment across a wide product range
- Assess installation quality and operational performance of systems
- Perform on-site adjustments to optimise system functionality
- Conduct root cause analysis across hardware, software, and operational issues
- Collaborate with engineers and partners during site activities
- Produce detailed technical reports and documentation
- Provide basic operational training to end users
- Deliver preventive and corrective maintenance services
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical principles
- Knowledge of automation systems, protection relays, and transfer switches
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and regulations
- Confident in troubleshooting complex systems and handling multiple tasks
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commissioning or field service
- Background in electrotechnical engineering (degree preferred)
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to work independently and solve technical challenges
- Strong communication skills (English B2+ minimum)
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 70%)
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and commissioning software
