We share with you a new opportunity for a Group Head of Communications to join Cerealto, a private-label biscuits leader with a presence in Iberia, México and the UK.
We’re a 500M€ private equity-owned business on an ambitious growth journey, and this role will play a key part in shaping our communications strategy.
The mission of the position will be lead and develop strategic communications plans to ensure consistent messaging across all channels to enhance brand awareness and engagement, both internally and externally.
Main responsibilities of the position:
-Strategic Planning & Execution:
* Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies aligned with organisational goals.
* Identify key audiences and tailor messaging accordingly.
* Oversee the creation and delivery of various communication materials, including press releases, social media content, website updates, and internal communications.
* Manage crisis communications effectively, developing and executing strategies to address negative publicity or issues.
* Monitor and analyse communication performance, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
-Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media, influencers, and partners.
* Advise senior leadership on communication matters and ensure alignment across the organisation.
* Represent the organisation in public forums and media events.
-Internal and External Communication:
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Manage external communications, including media relations, public relations, and social media engagement.
-Other Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the communications budget.
* Create communication strategies for new programs, launches, events, and promotions.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
What we need:
* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential - English and Spanish speaking as a minimum
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
* Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
* Crisis Management: Experience in developing and executing crisis communication plans.
* Media Relations: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets.
* Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with various social media platforms and strategies.
* Content Creation: Experience in creating engaging and informative content for various channels.
* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and identify trends to improve communication performance.
* The location is flexible: Spain or UK.
* Experience: 2-3 years minimum in a corporate comms role.
* Native English and fluent spanish are essential.
