We have partnered with a fast-growing genomics company, looking for a 'Field Applications Specialist based in Spain and who will serve as the key technical link between the company's advanced genomic analysis platform and their clients.
Role responsibilities:
Working closely with the sales team, you will provide expert guidance throughout the customer journey, from initial engagement to ongoing support.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Demonstrating and articulating the value of our cloud-based genomic analysis platform to prospective clients.
* Delivering in-depth technical training and high-level support to ensure optimal platform utilization.
* Overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring seamless platform integration into clients' workflows.
* Collecting and relaying client feedback to our product team, contributing to continuous improvements.
* Staying informed about market trends and competitor offerings.
* Travelling within Europe (up to 50%) to support clients and participate in industry events.
* Collaborating with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
* Providing regular reports on client interactions, needs, and opportunities.
What We Are Looking For:
We seek a motivated individual with the following qualifications and skills:
* Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
* Minimum B.Sc. in biology, genetics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Solid understanding of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and its clinical applications.
* Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS technologies in life sciences.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Proven experience in customer-facing roles within life sciences or healthcare technology sectors.
Preferred:
* Experience in bioinformatics or genomic data analysis.
* Familiarity with molecular diagnostics laboratory workflows.
* Knowledge of the healthcare and research landscape, particularly in genomics and personalized medicine.
* Background in in vitro diagnostics (IVD / IVDR).
