YOUR TASKS
* Functional definition of wind farm control requirements.
* Software development of the Nordex Acciona wind farm controller.
* Software validation in the laboratory and also in the field (remotely).
* Control performance optimization.
* PLC programming IEC61131-3 and Matlab/Simulink.
* Lead complex developments.
* Communication interfaces development and optimization.
* Close cooperation with stakeholders (Control and Grid code team, laboratory test team)
* Third level support for the Nordex Acciona wind farm fleet.
YOUR PROFILE
* Degree in Control, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
* Knowledge of PLC programming.
* You have a self-responsible, structured, customer-and solution-oriented working mindset.
* Intercultural understanding, and you thrive on working collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
* Good communication skills.
* You are proactive, assertive and a team player.
* English B2 or higher. German language skills is a plus.
* No experience is required.
* Availability to travel.
