We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive the growth and success of key sellers on our marketplace platform. You will work closely with major sellers to optimize their performance, expand their product offerings, and ensure business goals are met. This role requires a strong focus on business development, project management, and technical expertise, with a deep understanding of marketplace operations, particularly within the Spanish market.
Business Development and Planning:
Negotiate with key sellers to promote relevant local selection and secure price advantages.
Understand main distributors in Spain for the relevant category and market demand insights to drive sales with multi-category sellers.
Provide key sellers guidance on marketplace platform operations, marketing tools, and advertising solutions.
Experience in marketplace operations is highly relevant.
Promotion and Sales:
Collaborate with internal/external teams to drive sales for a managed set of sellers.
Propose promotional activities to boost local product visibility within the overall marketplace selection.
Manage the product mix and sales blend of local and overseas selections.
Ensure global teams understand Spanish market peculiarities and customer demands.
Coordinate the annual category plan, including single brand and product traffic integration.
Explore innovative marketing models and negotiate co-marketing activities with stakeholders, leading the commercial relationship with key market players.
Have a high-level understanding of integration methods between seller ERP systems and marketplace platforms (e.API, middleware, CMS modules).
Project Management:
Quickly implement business innovation projects based on the local business and consumer needs in Spain.
Manage multiple projects in parallel, ensuring clear business structure and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Responsible for overall research and analysis of platform and industry, including user, merchant, shop, commodity, and competitor data.
Full-time undergraduate degree or above.
Fluent in English and Spanish. Mandarin is a plus.
More than 1 year of relevant seller operations experience in a marketplace or as a seller marketplace manager.
Experience in seller operations and platform operation, familiar with brands, business models, and e-commerce platform operations.
Familiar with the Spanish distribution market.
Deep understanding of brand operation and the ability to analyze online and offline market conditions and consumer behavior.
Expertise in commercial development with marketplace sellers.
Experience in promotion planning, organization coordination, and resource integration.
Strong ability in data processing and analysis, with proficiency in Excel.
Excellent experience in innovative project management and marketing is preferred.
