Product Compliance Sr. Associate with French, Global Solutions & Risk Compliance (GSRC)

The Global Solutions Risk and Compliance (GSRC) team ensures that Amazon transactions satisfy legal and safety requirements across global marketplaces. We proactively identify risks involved for Amazon while doing business in various countries and enable smooth flow of products across international borders. A Senior Compliance Associate is responsible for protecting Amazon customers from products that are illegal, hazardous, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited /regulated by Law and Amazon policies.
Responsibilities
- Review the latest product information per Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) and cross-check it against the relevant regulatory documentation.
- Use Amazon-specific tools and systems to classify products and ensure they meet compliance requirements for availability on Amazon.
- Collaborate with your manager and Process Experts to address deviations from SOPs and seek guidance when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of assigned tasks and utilize standardized reports to prioritize work, meeting Quality, Productivity and SLA targets.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with partner teams to reduce manual effort, including automating reports using Excel queries.
- Provide feedback on SOPs and contribute to ongoing refinement of operational processes.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and share expertise and learnings.
- As a mentor, support peers by answering queries and providing process-level training.

Basic Qualifications
- Highschool diploma (Baccalaureate)
- French B1+ (or equivalent) proficiency in verbal and written communication
- English B2+ (or equivalent) proficiency in verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar fields
- Experience in Business Process Outsourcing in domains such as accounting, regulatory compliance, payment processing, IT services, human resources, quality assurance
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA)
- Knowledge of database querying (SQL)
- Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations
- Experience as a quality auditor in retail chain management, Fast Moving Consumer Goods company, or corporate role
- Experience in regulatory compliance operations with government agencies
- Experience with data analysis in quantitative fields and building data and decision support systems
