Scopely is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Dice team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis! The Marketing team deeply understands a game’s audience, creative strategy and priorities. They are the glue between the Brand, Product, and our Player Communities that will redefine our social strategy to amplify our games across new and existing social channels while building a meaningful community for our players. What You Will Do The Senior Marketing Manager is the lead marketer in the organization for Yahtzee with Buddies, and is ultimately responsible for crafting and leading all aspects of delivery of category-winning marketing that drives healthy and sustainable player and revenue growth. The marketing strategy will focus on finding opportunities to expand the audience through traditional and non-traditional avenues, while partnering with Product Management on in-game improvements that make valuable contributions to players. Success in this role will be evaluated by showing positive results in return on ad spend (ROAS), early retention, DAU, recurring customers, returning customers, and organic installs.
1. Represent the marketing efforts and strategy for Yahtzee with Buddies to senior leadership
2. Define and drive that strategy (inclusive of paid and organic efforts) as a unified effort across all marketing channels including performance marketing (UA), App Store presence, partnerships and social channels
3. Identify and lead opportunities with potential to increase organic installs such as formulating brand partnerships
4. Work hand-in-glove with Product teams to ensure our player experience is cohesive.
5. Collaborate with central marketing teams and departments to implement components of the strategy, including Performance Marketing (UA), Marketing Data & Analytics, Creative and Player Research
6. Analyze data and use insights to optimize and refine marketing campaigns in order to improve return on ad spend
7. Ensure brand alignment and approvals with Hasbro (the IP holder)
What We’re Looking For
8. 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on casual mobile game marketing and user acquisition
9. Experience working in the gaming industry is required
10. Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem
11. Strong analytical skills
12. Consistent track record of leading marketing campaigns across multiple channels
13. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
