Job Summary:
The
Software Engineering Manager
leads multiple talented teams shaping the future of our innovative digital payments solutions! You’ll oversee the
disciplinary management
of engineers working on diverse components, including frontend, backend, mobile, and embedded secure elements, while fostering collaboration across departments to deliver high-impact results and ensuring industry best practices are at the core of our processes.Our dynamic, inclusive culture thrives on mentorship, collaboration, and continuous self-improvement, empowering you to inspire and grow your teams. report to the CTO, driving the materialization of the technological strategy and vision within the organization, while ensuring that business objectives are met.
Your Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor cross-functional development teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.Cultural Stewardship:
Champion a positive and inclusive company culture, aligning team values and behaviors with our mission.Recruitment:
Own the hiring process end-to-end, from sourcing to onboarding, to attract and retain top engineering talent.Talent Development:
Implement and oversee training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives for team members.Performance Management:
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and address personnel issues proactively.Strategic Alignment:
Collaborate with the CTO and senior leadership to align team objectives with the company’s technical and business strategies.Operational Efficiency:
Continually optimize team workflows, processes, and tools to improve productivity, communication, and collaboration.Resource Management:
Allocate team members and resources effectively to meet project goals with efficiency and quality.Conflict Resolution:
Proactively identify and resolve interpersonal or workflow conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.Proven experience (5+ years) as a software engineer;
recent hands-on experience is strongly preferred.5+ years of experience managing or leading engineering teams, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.Strong technical background;
capable of earning respect and credibility with engineering teams through knowledge and experience.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
able to motivate, empower, and inspire team members.Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive team culture that values diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement.Experience with talent development, conducting performance reviews, and giving effective feedback.Sound judgment in project and resource management;
able to prioritize effectively and deliver results.Skilled in process improvement and implementing best practices in software development and team operations.Adept at handling conflict resolution and managing change in a dynamic environment.Experience collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience:
Experience scaling teams in a fast-growing startup or dynamic environment.Background in Agile methodologies or similar modern software development practices.Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and developing strategies for employee engagement and retention.
