brCore Responsibilities
brDevelop and execute UK pricing strategies for Motor, Home, Pet, and SME portfolios, working closely with MGAs to design competitive, profitable solutions through statistical modelling, risk analysis, and API-driven implementation aligned with business growth targets
brOwn portfolio analytics and performance optimisation—build management dashboards, conduct profitability reviews, analyse customer segmentation, and monitor competitor dynamics, claims patterns, and regulatory developments to inform strategic pricing decisions
brBuild and maintain sophisticated pricing models using actuarial methods and machine learning techniques, evaluate model performance, conduct recalibrations, and provide technical peer review of partner pricing proposals to ensure robustness and consistency
brAct as pricing subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, translating complex analytical insights for non-technical audiences while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with UK and European teams

brQualifications
brStrong insurance market pricing background across Motor, Home, and/or SME products with deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, Spanish market dynamics, and proven expertise in actuarial modelling and pricing methodology
brAdvanced technical skills: SQL and/or Python programming, experience with commercial pricing platforms (AKUR8, RADAR, EARNIX or similar), machine learning applications, and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) with demonstrated ability to lead pricing initiatives
brStrategic communicator with commercial acumen who can influence stakeholders across all levels, comfortable working in fast-paced international environments; actuarial credentials (FIA/FFA or equivalent) and MGA/B2B2C experience beneficial but not mandatory
