We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Software Developer Trainee to work in the adoption of AI tools and services.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role as an enabler and knowledge multiplier, actively sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
This internship involves hands-on development, testing, and optimization of functionalities for enterprise-level SAS AI solutions—including Microsoft Copilot, n8n, AI Foundry, and other advanced platforms.
The intern will support us in adopting these AI technologies, facilitate knowledge sharing, and contribute to the evolution of our digital ecosystem by experimenting with new features and providing actionable feedback.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about empowering others and driving innovation through collaborative problem-solving.
Requirements and Experience
* Understanding of software development principles and programming fundamentals.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
* Initial experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) applications.
* Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON) and basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL).
* Understanding of version control tools (Git) and enthusiasm to learn modern development workflows.
* Use of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and scalable software environments.
* Motivation to grow in areas like DevOps, data processing, or AI model integration.
Other Competences
* Experience gained through university coursework, personal projects, or internships in software or AI development.
* Participation in team-based projects, preferably following agile or iterative workflows.
* Exposure to real-world problem solving, translating technical requirements into working solutions.
* Ability to document, test, and communicate technical results effectively.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
Conditions of the Internship
* 12-month internship.
* 35 hours per week (availability required from 8:00 to 16:00 during the 12 months).
* Flexible starting time.
* Agreement and training provided by the company or agreement with current university.
* 30 working days of holidays.
