Manager, Due Diligence Delivery

Reports to: Director, Delivery, R&C Adverse Media
You Will
1. Lead a team of Delivery Managers across different time zones to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions to clients.
2. Define and oversee implementation of workflows for the Due Diligence team (including effective mailbox policies), aligning delivery processes with global product standards.
3. Develop methodologies and processes relating to report delivery and client/sales communication that enables quality service and products across regions.
4. Provide regular and transparent communication of team objectives and goals.
5. Hire, supervise, support, and develop a team to maximize potential through motivation, coaching, counseling, and delegation.
6. Be a key representative of the Due Diligence team in dealings with clients, particularly strategic clients, working with partners in Sales and Product
7. Perform testing of new or enhanced system and product functionality
8. Assist in determining the best research/quality team representatives to liaise with clients
9. Help in the planning of research resources for report assignments and for any large ad hoc projects together with the Due Diligence Management team
10. Assist in scoping and managing potential ad-hoc projects outside the usual DD scope
11. Contribute to the creation, maintenance and testing of guidelines, data and tools that will support the team
12. Have an automation mindset by initiating and driving change to existing team workflows and methodologies to create efficiencies and quality improvements with shared benefits across the global team.
13. Support training of future members of staff
14. Ensure that the team members strictly adhere to the Dow Jones’ and client’s policies & procedures.
15. Write and proofread Due Diligence reports when required
16. Support R&C with translation services as and when required
You Have
17. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management as well as team members and peer groups
18. People management skills
19. A professional attitude in client facing environment
20. Ability to work in a high pressure environment with strict deadlines
21. Current news awareness and solid news judgment
22. Strong customer focus
Preferred
23. Previous people management experience
24. Relevant experience in Third-Party Due Diligence is required
25. Automation, data visualization skills are a plus
