Job Summary
We are looking for a Scrum Master - Software Developer Engineer to join our R&D department. As part of the Application Development Center, we develop and innovate products with a high focus on customer‑specific solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive the software development process cycle based on an agile framework. Lead and guide the team and focus it on the objectives.
Manage the scrum process steps (sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews, daily stand‑ups …).
Report Agile metrics to the Product Owner / Project Manager.
Remove blockers for the scrum team.
Software development for specific Siemens solutions.
Design, implement and modify software using ADA/C/C++/Visual C programming language, applying SIL4 techniques.
Assume responsibilities throughout the entire software development cycle, including specification, design, development, testing, and delivery phases.
Work in an international and multidisciplinary development team.
Innovate and research new technologies applied to products.
Qualifications
Software engineer (computer science, senior engineer in industrial, telecommunications).
Desirable experience in development of applications for Railway Signaling Train Control systems or other SIL4 products.
Desirable experience in working and applying Agile/Scrum in a software development team.
Desirable 3 years of experience in research projects.
Knowledge
Knowledge of Agile software development methodology (SCRUM) and related tools (Jira, Gitlab, RTC).
Knowledge in ADA/C/C++/Visual C programming language preferably; other programming languages such as Java/Python will be valued.
Knowledge of software architecture.
Knowledge of Railway Systems (ERTMS) highly valued.
Ability to manage integration environments and analyze/implement test automation.
Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Confluence or Polarion.
Knowledge of automatic testing and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, SonarQube).
Knowledge of requirements and traceability management tools (Doors, Polarion).
Knowledge of SIL2/4 development techniques (CENELEC 50128:2011 Standard).
Additional Assessment
Knowledge of ADA will be valued.
Knowledge of robots and test environment automation will be valued.
IT security knowledge (vulnerability testing, threat mitigation, authentication, access control, cryptography) will be highly valued.
Programming using code standards (MISRA 2012 & CERT C) and following good development practices.
