We are looking for an
IT Controller to join our team at our offices in
Terrassa (Barcelona).
In this role, you will work closely with remote teams in a global environment with various stakeholders across IT, Controlling, Finance, HR, and Procurement.
Your responsibilities include:
You own the global IT budget, act as a business partner to the CDO, and is responsible for achieving the IT organization’s financial targets through effective financial governance.
You further develop the existing IT controlling function with a focus on data and processes.
You lead the controlling activities together with one direct report and are responsible for IT project controlling, CAPEX management, cost allocation, month-end closing activities, recurring reporting, budget and forecast, and strategic planning.
You prepare analysis for ad-hoc requests using tools such as Power BI and SAP BW.
You are responsible for financial management and analysis, purchase order management, and IT cost control and optimization.
You have a completed
degree
in business
administration/economics, business informatics, business mathematics, or a comparable field.
People leadership experience is not mandatory—this role is suitable as a first leadership position.
You are
fluent in English, knowledge in
German is a plus
You have
several years of experience in controlling-related roles
and experience managing large central organizations ( ideally IT ).
You enjoy taking ownership, work independently and pragmatically, and like tackling challenges.
You are curious about new topics, want to develop further, and enjoy a varied set of tasks.
Additional Information
Availability to travel ( approximately 20% ) when required (HQ inGermany/Switzerland). xpzdshu
