Reporting directly to our CFO, this role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of our internal finance processes as we scale. /ppbr/ppYou will support accounting workflows, payments, reconciliations, vendor and grant management, and help prepare materials for audits and reporting. emThe role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable operating across jurisdictions and systems. /em /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliSupport accounts payable/receivable processes across multiple entities /liliAssist with monthly reconciliations, bookkeeping, and internal financial reporting /liliLiaise with external accounting providers, including in Spain, Malta and the US /liliHelp prepare documentation for grant claims, audits, and investor reporting /liliMaintain and improve finance-related tools and documentation (e.g., budget trackers, vendor logs) /liliProcess employee payroll, new hires registration and onboarding /liliTrack internal expenses, reimbursements, and credit card usage /liliEnsure consistent record-keeping and compliance with internal controls /liliSupport CFO on ad hoc finance projects and analysis, as needed /li /ulpbr/ppstrongIdeal Candidate Profile /strong /pulli2–4 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or business administration /liliProficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) and accounting software /liliStrong attention to detail, ability to organize and follow through on multiple tasks /liliComfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment /liliExcellent communication skills; able to coordinate across departments and geographies /liliPassionate about technology, driving efficiency through continuous process optimization, automation, and AI leveraging /liliStartup Mindset: Agile, accountable, and solution-driven /liliFluent in English.
