Across all its Funds, the company seeks to hold assets for the long term and usually for the life of the Funds.

Asset Management Overview:
Asset Management is responsible for all portfolio assets from financial close. The approach is to in-house Asset Management is to ensure:
• Onboarding of assets to AM supporting our investment team in this process ensuring that the necessary service provisions are appropriately scoped, priced and that financial models (acquisition and operational) are in place.
• Full oversight of all onboarded assets including taking on Board Directorships and communication to stakeholders.
• Good governance practices.
• Overwatch of Management Service Providers (MSP) to ensure they are performing their scope of services.
• Appropriate reporting of operational and financial performance of our assets
• Implementation of strategic initiatives that boost yield and value.
• Communication of performance of assets back to Fund Management, Investors and the Board through regular Fund reporting and ad hoc meetings on key issues.
Assets
The Enterprise Value of the current installed infrastructure is £100bn+ shared across Energy Transition, Transport, Network Utilities and Social Infrastructure.
• Energy Transition (combining Renewable Power and Energy and Environmental Services): onshore wind, offshore wind, solar PV, hybrid systems, hydro, geothermal, offshore transmission; anaerobic
digestion, energy from waste & biomass, water and wastewater treatment.
Working with Fund Management
Fund Management is a sub-team within the Asset Management team, responsible for the Fund’s performance and is the interface between the Investor and the Funds/Assets. The wider AM Team regularly works with Fund management, to:
• Monitor and inform Fund Management of any change in the Asset’s risk, performance or value
• Optimize the Assets
• Present any issues or developments (both negative and positive) at the Fund Oversight Committee
Your role: Associate Director
As the business continues to grow, the company is opening for an Associate Director to have an initial focus in managing a growing platform in Spain of circa €1bn of assets that will combine Solar PV, Onshore Wind and Battery Storage (Project Summit). We anticipate that the role may grow in future so that the individual can add-value across the Energy Transition team.
The role encompasses:
• Management:
o Take on and discharge responsibilities as a statutory Board Director on Project Summit assets and, in future, other Energy Transition assets.
o Oversee and enforce Summit’s Management Service Provider’s contractual obligations to our Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) ensuring that all contractual services are being provided. These include information and reporting deliverables associated with:
Project development activities
Financial Management services
General Management services
Secretarial services
Construction Management
Operations Management
o Oversee the handover of new assets from construction to operations.
o Manage all the shareholder reporting requirements for Project Summit ensuring that the MSP provides complete information in a timely manner to ensure that all aspects of reporting are up to date.
o Identify any gaps between MSP reporting and shareholder reporting and make recommendations to bridge these gaps rapidly.
o Assist with re-scope of management services so that they are aligned to changing levels of support the SPV may need.
o Implement appropriate levels of skilled additional oversight to ensure that the SPV is managing key risks including ESG, health and safety and cyber security.
o Ensure the MSP is enforcing contracts where contracted parties to the SPV are underperforming.
• Commercial analysis:
o Assess business plans and key objectives and manage these.
o Help set and manage in-year SPV budgets.
o Assess potential value drivers.
• Technical understanding:
o Identify and describe key technical risks and opportunities.
o Identify important operational KPIs and understand key underlying value drivers.
o Identify and retain appropriate resources to help mitigate technical risks.
• Financial:
o Be able to identify and evaluate and isolate key value drives, inform bridging to FC cases and help guide sensitivity analysis.
o Identify and deliver asset optimisations to improve yield.
• Strategic:
o Working with colleagues within and outside Asset Management to propose strategies for project value enhancement including financing, co-investment, revamping/re-powering and divestment.
o Be up to date with key regulatory changes in the Spanish market (and emerging in the EU), helping to articulate impacts on the Summit portfolio.
Given the dynamic nature of the work in the AM team and the cross-sector assets, the candidate may be required to support assets in our other AM sectors.
The individual must be able to:
• Present information in clear and balanced manner both through verbal presentation and in written form, both in English and Spanish.
• Report on the detail of the project situation to shareholders, colleagues and the Fund and Investment committees.
• Be able to think on your feet to help find potential solutions to complex project-specific issues when they arise.
The successful candidate will also be required to:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. service providers, contractors and lenders) and with other areas of the business.
• Travel in Spain and occasionally in Europe.
• Ensure that the business is live to industry developments, regulatory changes and emerging supply chain issues that may affect Project Summit.

Education and experience
• Track record in the renewables sector ideally in Spain.
• Proven experience working on Solar PV and Wind assets (ideally in Asset Management, Investments, M&A or Advisory).
• Financial modelling experience necessary.
• Experience managing Service providers in contract delivery and during operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Degree in related field is desirable (e.g. Science & Engineering, Finance, Business).
