We are looking for someone who began his/her professional career as Software Engineer with JAVA to Technical Product Owner is responsible for driving technical initiatives within the Basket & Payment domain, owning the core technology stack and ensuring the platform is resilient, performant, secure, and scalable.
The role combines strong technical leadership with product and delivery ownership, working closely with the Platform Owner, engineers, and key stakeholders.
Your Profile
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Software Developer (JAVA) and almost 3 years as Technical Product Owner product management, platform management, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on technical background (e.g., Backend Engineer) with the ability to lead cross-functional technical teams.
- Proven experience managing fullstack tech teams, including infrastructure and platform components.
- Demonstrated success working with external partners, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Platform & Technical Ownership
- Support the Platform Owner in driving strategic and technical initiatives within the Basket & Payment area.
- Own and evolve the core technology stack, driving central improvements across systems and teams.
- Increase delivery speed by reducing application and team dependencies.
- Optimize application performance and lead the decommissioning of legacy components.
Roadmap & Backlog Management
- Define and maintain an ambitious technical roadmap aligned with platform and business goals.
- Prioritize and manage the technical backlog with a focus on resilience, scalability, and performance.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform sustainability.
Engineering Excellence
- Evaluate, introduce, and standardize tools that improve the daily work of the Platform Team.
- Drive continuous improvement in developer productivity and developer experience, ensuring high-quality documentation and usability.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure high standards in all deliverables.
Security & Reliability
- Proactively improve application and platform security to protect critical systems.
- Ensure platforms meet reliability, availability, and performance expectations.
Delivery & Change Management
- Coordinate non-agile change projects, including timeline tracking, risk management, and delivery oversight.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
Performance & Stakeholder Management
- Define, align, and monitor platform KPIs for both team performance and technical systems.
