Our Madrid team is led by Juan Jesús Valderas, one of the top leading expert witnesses in Spain.We are currently seeking to recruit a Manager to be based in Madrid to support our Disputes & Investigations practice in Spain and across Europe. The successful candidate will:- Work closely with our Managing Director and Senior Directors / Directors on a variety of assignments in Spain and internationally- Use forensic skills to investigate fraud and other financial misrepresentation- Assist in the preparation of Expert Witness reports of a financial or economic nature- Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting information in an investigation, dispute, or accounting related matter- Assist in the performance of complex financial models and analyses- Assist with drafting reports and other client deliverables- Assist with researching technical and industry specific issues- Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”- Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities- Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement managementThe successful candidate will have a balance of the following skills:- Business university degree, ideally with an accounting background. Double degree (law and business) is a plus.- Fluency in Spanish and English is required (additional language skills are highly desirable).- 4 years of experience in audit and/or a forensic and dispute consulting practice- Ability to work to tight deadlines, combined with a positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation- Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesize information from several sources and draw coherent, well-evidenced conclusions- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint- Well-developed report writing skills- Strong communication and analytical capabilities with excellent attention to detailAs you will have the opportunity to be part of international projects and work with clients across EMEA, the candidate shouldd be willing to travel.
