POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION
Reporting to the General Manager of Spain & Portugal, this role's main goal is to:
Lead the Healthcare Marketing function and team for Primary Care (Rx) and Consumer Healthcare (OTC) in alignment with the Spanish affiliate's portfolio and pipeline strategy, incorporating sales, market access, medical, and compliance inputs.
Be a member of the MC Iberia Leadership Team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop a patient-centric and customer success marketing strategy for the portfolio, including analysis, planning, execution of Brand Plans, and pre-marketing activities for pipeline products. Drive global strategy and direction.
* Anticipate future market needs and develop action plans to ensure the organization remains competitive in both short and long term.
* Create and co-lead the execution of strategies for Local Brands (Rx and OTC), providing strategic insights for marketing plans and ensuring proper execution within budget.
* Share responsibility for the local P&L of the Brands.
* Supervise the strategy development for understanding stakeholder needs, segmenting markets, analyzing competition, and formulating brand strategies and plans.
* Ensure competitive and differentiated positioning of local brands throughout their lifecycle, including messaging and campaign development.
* Support product launches and commercialization efforts, with field presence to identify and address local needs.
* Represent Almirall in Spain through high-level interactions with customers and KOLs.
* Guide and lead the team to build strong value propositions and support market access teams.
* Oversee communication and marketing strategies for local brands.
* Influence product planning processes to set strategic direction and ambition.
* Foster innovation within the business unit and support business development initiatives.
* Collaborate with operational and HR functions to promote awareness and engagement initiatives.
* Lead, coach, and develop the team, promoting a high-performance culture and talent growth.
EDUCATION
* Academic degree, preferably in business or life sciences.
* MBA highly valued.
EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 8 years in leadership roles within marketing and sales, implementing transformative business models.
* Experience in FMCG, OTC, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or similar sectors.
* Experience in product planning and business development evaluations.
* Knowledge in market research, sales operations, patient programs, forecasting, and competitive intelligence.
* Proven success in team building and leadership in dynamic environments.
* Experience with latest technologies and AI solutions.

* Fluent in Spanish and English, both oral and written.
