This role is responsible for defining the mechanical architecture, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, and delivering robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions aligned with project timelines.
Requirements Engineering
Resolve ambiguities in technical requirements through engineering discussions.
Review systemic technical issues impacting the project.
Define and coordinate engineering analyses such as FEA, thermal analysis, and design reviews.
Ensure cost-optimized design and control deviations from target cost.
Support design-to-cost initiatives and contribute to value engineering activities.
Support DFMEA activities and cross-functional engineering reviews.
Evaluate feasibility of engineering changes and support change management processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of design guidelines and engineering best practices.
Support problem resolution and root cause analysis activities.
Participate in change management processes (engineering changes, requests, and modifications).
Ensure mechanical readiness for project gate reviews and releases.
Support verification activities including DV/PV testing.
Review and validate test results and engineering reports.
Ensure mitigation of identified design or test failures.
Contribute to thermal and system-level analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
