As an Accounting Specialist on our team, you will :
* Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, etc.)
* Prepare and review balance sheets, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports
* Reconcile bank accounts and customer / supplier accounts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
* Manage invoicing and control of collections and payments, ensuring correct VAT application and compliance with tax regulations
* Support the preparation of tax declarations, such as VAT, income tax, and corporate tax
* Maintain up-to-date accounting and financial documentation, both physical and digital
* Collaborate with internal and external audits, providing accounting data and supporting documents as required
* Assist in preparing financial forecasts and reports
* Monitor inventories and fixed assets, performing the corresponding accounting entries and adjustments
* Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, as well as with the companys internal policies

Requirements :
* A proficient or bilingual level of Spanish and advanced English
* 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role
* Strong sense of responsibility
* Initiative to take ownership of accounting tasks and act as a positive driver of change
* Team-oriented mindset and good collaboration skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
