OverviewNewrest seeks a Logistics Responsible within the graduate program to support our catering activities in Spain, based in Madrid. The selected candidate will undergo a one‑year training contract covering all departments in the Barcelona centre—production, warehouse, kitchen, cleaning, quality, etc.—before being assigned to global bases to continue professional development.
Responsibilities
List weekly flight schedules.
Enter daily material requirements for production.
Create monthly orders to suppliers or production based on stock forecasts.
Handle customs documentation for receiving, checking, and distributing goods to departments.
Check daily consumption against the schedule.
Control material stock received through the office.
Ensure material hygiene in catering per ISO standards.
Prepare inventory reports and send them to airline companies and the billing department.
Archive administrative documentation.
Communicate with airline companies to address incidents, material changes, and provide updates to staff.
Qualifications
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Economics, Food Industry, or a Master’s in Systems, Logistics, or related fields.
Regular user of Microsoft Office.
Advanced level English, spoken and written.
Immediate availability for start.
Willingness to travel internationally.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proactive attitude.
