For our sales office in Barcelona, we are looking for a Customer-service responsible (m/f) for the EF High School Exchange Year Program starting asap.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Receiving and handling customer inquiries and complaints, mainly by phone or in person
2. Communication and solution-oriented negotiation with customers (mainly in Spanish) and EF offices abroad (USA, UK and Ireland – mainly in English)
3. Coordination between EF high school students and EF offices in Spain and abroad during the exchange year and taking good care of students and parents before, during and after their experience
4. Assumption of projects and tasks in customer relationship management
5. Administrative support
6. Conceptualize new customer service ideas to improve the operations of the department and the experience or our students and parents
Requirements:
7. Higher education, ideally in tourism, business or communications
8. At least 2 years of relevant work experience
9. Strong communication skills
10. Native Spanish and very good English skills
11. Empathy, straightforwardness and high stress resistance
12. Problem solving orientation and structured way of working
13. Ambitious and proactive personality going the extra-mile and taking ownership
14. Able to solve delicate situations in an empathetic and efficient way
15. Steadiness of mind even in stressful situations
16. Teamplayer
17. Experience abroad (preferably through own experience in student exchange)
18. Studied or/and knowledge of psychology is valued positively
