PWe are looking for an bEGNOS Performance Expert /b who will ensure the detailed analysis, trending and reporting of the EGNOS mission performances in order to assess the compliance with the mission requirements, to define new service areas and to detect performance degradations identifying the cause of the problem, the mitigation actions and solutions. For these activities, we are looking for someone with at least b5 years’ experience in satellite navigation (GNSS) and 2 years of experience in field relevant to SBAS Performance /b. /ppbr/ppbYour main responsibilities/activities will be: /b /pulliEnsure the compliance of EGNOS Mission performances at user level with International Civil Aviation Organization Standards and Recommended Practices, MOPS (Minimum Operational Performance Standards) and EGNOS Mission Requirement Document requirements, /liliAnalysis of EGNOS mission performance anomalies detected in the monitoring tasks, including a crosscheck with external sources, giving priority to those ones related to safety issues, /liliParticipation and support to anomaly review boards, /liliIdentification of developments and evolutions of the existing tools to provide support to users, /liliSupport to the review of the corresponding technical documentation developed, /liliPreparation and participation of workshops, conferences and papers, /liliSupport to the preparation of Service Provision Management Reports, Service Definition Documents, Service Notices, Service Performance Monitoring and Prediction Methodologies, /liliProvide expertise in the definition/detection of contingency situations, /liliParticipation in different groups regarding EGNOS framework, providing technical support, /liliSupport to user oriented activities which require technical analysis, including evaluation and analysis of problems reported by the user through the Helpdesk service, /liliEvaluation and support to the qualification of specific applications related with the use of the EGNOS system at user level, /liliExecution of activities related to the definition and potential extension of the performance coverage, /liliSupport to EGNOS system formal reviews, /liliSupport on security matters impacting system performance and service provision. /li /ulpbr/ppbPROFILE: /b /pulliExperience in GNSS performance analysis and standards (MOPS and SARPS) /liliCapacity to problem solving /liliTeam spirit and cooperation /liliVery good knowledge on GNSS technology /liliKnowledge of SBAS standards (MOPS, SARPS) /liliKnowledge of data/environment/interfaces /liliKnowledge of GNSS evol/non GNSS technology /liliAnalysis and synthesis /liliDesirable some knowledge of Space Weather concepts and impacts in GNSS Technology /liliProgramming skills in Python and/or Linux/UNIX scripting (Bash) will be valued positively /liliAutonomy /liliAbility to work in a team environment /liliGood analysis and investigation skills /liliGood level of English (B1-B2) – CECRL /li /ulpbr/ppb5 years /b of experience minimum in bsatellite navigation (GNSS) /b sector AND b2 years /bof experience in a field relevant bSBAS performance /b. /ppbr/ppbJOB REQUIREMENTS: /b /ppEngineering degree or equivalent /ppAvailable for bpunctual travels /b mainly in Europe /p
