At Gestamp, we are looking for a senior professional to join our corporate team as Energy Strategy & Contracting Manager, playing a key role in shaping our global energy approach.
This is a strategic position with direct impact on energy cost optimization, long-term agreements and our decarbonization roadmap.
Your mission
You will lead the definition and execution of energy strategy across our international industrial footprint, focusing on:
Develop and implement the energy sourcing strategy, including planning, negotiation, and management of energy supply contracts for Gestamp Group plants.
Collaborate with ESG and Environmental departments to achieve the Group’s decarbonization objectives through the procurement of renewable energy solutions (such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), self-consumption projects, Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs), etc.), as well as through participation in electrification and energy efficiency initiatives.
Monitor, report, and forecast historical and future energy consumption data for Gestamp Group plants. Provide insights on the current and future status of energy markets and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and assessing potential new energy developments. xhfqzwm
What we are looking for
Degree in Engineering (preferred) or similar
+7 years of experience in energy, industrial environment or related sectors
Solid experience in:
Negotiation of energy contracts and long-term agreements
Energy budget management and cost control
Interaction with utilities / energy providers
Strong strategic thinking combined with execution capability
High autonomy, ownership and stakeholder management skills
Languages
Fluent English required
German is a plus
