ABOUT THIS ROLEThe role of a Privacy Counsel at Euronet involves supporting legal and strategic guidance on data protection and privacy compliance across the organization.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Privacy Office and EU business teams by providing basic data protection and privacy guidance, under supervision, to help manage privacy risks and support business needs.Assist with drafting and reviewing Data Privacy and Data Transfer Agreements in cooperation with local internal counsel, and support negotiations with third parties.Support EU Privacy Consultants in addressing local regulatory requirements and day‑to‑day compliance topics.Assist in the preparation and review of Data Privacy Notices and Cookie Notices for company websites and applications.Support documentation of data processing activities, including identifying lawful bases for processing, data transfers, and contributing to Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).Monitor developments in EU and local data protection regulations and help share relevant updates with the Privacy Office and business stakeholders while managing multiple tasks and priorities.POSITION REQUIREMENTSQualified lawyer (admitted or in the final stage of qualification) in Lithuania or another EU/EEA jurisdictionAt least 6 months’ experience in a corporate, consulting, or law‑firm environmentInitial hands‑on exposure to data protection, privacy, compliance, or regulatory workFluent English as a working language, with strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and proactively in a matrixed, multi‑entity and multi‑jurisdictional environment, with good judgment on when to escalateNICE TO HAVE:Hands‑on exposure to GDPR compliance activities (e.G.
