The opportunity
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design and development of industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, international standards, and product requirements. You will actively contribute to product optimization, innovation, and validation throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

How you’ll make an impact
- Execute Electrical Design: Develop electrical designs for industrial equipment using EPLAN to meet product and technical specifications.
- Size Electrical Systems: Perform sizing of LV and MV electrical systems, components, and cabinets.
- Select Components: Choose electrical components based on technical requirements and justificatory calculations.
- Apply Standards: Analyze and extract requirements from applicable international standards.
- Prepare Documentation: Create electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, validation reports, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Optimize Products: Contribute to electrical optimization and value engineering activities.
- Support Innovation: Provide technical input to product development and innovation initiatives.
- Prototype Implementation: Support and participate in the implementation and validation of prototypes.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical design of industrial equipment or facilities using electrical design tools.
- Professional experience with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar.
- User-level knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.).
- Fluent in Spanish and English (at least C1).
- Experience in sizing LV and MV electrical systems, components, and cabinets.
- Knowledge of battery fuse selection and safety regulations is a plus.
- Experience in electrical systems and power electronics design is a plus.
- Experience in value engineering activities is a plus.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience is desirable.
