We’re seeking a skilled freelancer to manage and optimize Google Merchant Center accounts for various e-commerce websites. This project-based role requires expertise in GMC, handling organic product listings, troubleshooting disapprovals, and enhancing product visibility.
You will collaborate with our tech, content, and marketing teams to ensure proper product feeds, improve organic performance, and maximize exposure across Google Shopping. Candidates should have hands-on experience fixing feed issues, strong SEO skills, and a thorough understanding of e-commerce product structures.
Responsibilities include:
* Setting up, configuring, and managing Google Merchant Center accounts
* Creating, updating, and optimizing product feeds
* Troubleshooting feed errors, disapprovals, and policy violations to ensure maximum product approval and visibility
* Optimizing product data (titles, descriptions, images, categories, etc.) for better performance in organic listings and Google Shopping
* Monitoring the Diagnostics tab regularly and resolving issues or warnings promptly
* Updating and improving the product feed regularly
* Ensuring proper syncing between Google Merchant Center and Google Ads (if needed)
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure feed accuracy and consistency
