SAMSØE SAMSØE is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Development and Production manager to join our Production team of six. The primary responsibility will be to oversee daily operations for a portfolio of suppliers, working closely with the design and pattern teams, as well as merchandising and CSR.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Manage style portfolio from sourcing to production delivery
* Develop and maintain supplier relationships within the category
* Manage sample orders and follow up on delivery and timelines
* Review samples and approve colours, quality, etc., in collaboration with the design and pattern teams
* Ensure sustainability goals are met for each product group/style portfolio
* Coordinate timely delivery of samples and finished products, ensuring correct quality, location, and terms
* Price negotiation
* KPI’s: Margins and prices, sample availability, delivery performance and supplier development
YOUR PROFILE
* You hold a relevant degree (minimum 2 years of education)
* Experience from a similar position is preferred
* You are curious, eager to learn, and open to gaining insight into production workflows
* Motivated, reliable, and professional
* Structured, ambitious, and capable of setting goals for yourself
* Thrive working independently and as part of a team
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Proficient with systems such as Microsoft Office, PLM and ERP
