Future Learning is currently looking to expand our international sales team and is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, experienced, and confident Regional Business Developer to manage our Spanish and some EU markets while based in Spain.

EU Regional Business Developer - based in Spain

As an EU Regional Business Developer, you will work in international sales, driven to achieve sales targets across all channels and markets.

Under the guidance of the EU Senior Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include retaining and developing existing clients, securing new customers and routes to market, and supporting the development of new Future Learning projects.

The successful candidate will be creative, energetic, positive, detail-oriented, fun, and a team player. Organizational skills and attention to detail are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive repeat sales through B2B and B2C relationships and networks.
* Generate new sales opportunities through relationships, routes to market, and innovative product offerings.
* Maintain and update the CRM system with all sales activities.
* Respond promptly to leads and inquiries, prioritizing effectively.
* Collaborate with other departments on new business proposals to ensure feasibility and profitability.
* Achieve sales targets for new Future Learning centers and champion new centers internally and externally.
* Identify in-country opportunities and attend external events, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
* Travel as needed to visit clients and prospects in your assigned region.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and report market intelligence.
* Meet annual sales targets and KPIs, and provide progress reports.
* Develop a network for market intelligence and new business opportunities.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of Future Learning’s programs and manage key accounts.
* Manage customer expectations effectively.
* Contribute to strategic planning and develop the FL brand in additional EU countries when required.
* Assist with translation, marketing materials design, and production in Spanish.
Key Personal Goals
* Identify new sales agents and partners in Spain, Portugal, and other regions (e.g., France, Germany).
* Enhance relationships with existing agents and partners.
* Achieve assigned sales targets and work collaboratively within the team.
* Use customer feedback to improve our programs.
* Support growth in direct and agent bookings in adult and young learner sectors.
Candidate Requirements
* Based in Spain.
* Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; additional EU languages (Portuguese, French, German) are a plus.
* At least 3 years of experience in the international language education industry.
* Experience in account management, relationship management, sales, or marketing.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience working with diverse cultures and language levels.
* Proficiency in IT and CRM systems.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
* Willingness to travel frequently.
* Driving license is desirable.
* Experience with digital marketing and CRM tools.

Benefits & Contract Details
* National holidays in Spain (region-dependent).
* Company mobile phone, travel expenses covered.
* Contract according to Spanish working hours.
* Travel abroad and work additional hours or weekends as needed.
* Salary: €21,000 to €24,000 per year + commission, with potential to increase based on performance (€33,000 to €36,000+ OTE).
* Spanish native speaker; proficiency in Portuguese or other EU languages is a plus.
