This position reports to the Product Marketing Manager ELSP.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will champion the market introduction and growth of our digital low-voltage solutions, including cloud-connected devices and systems. The work model is hybrid, contributing to the Smart Power Division within Electrification Business in Spain. Main stakeholders include the local sales team, global Agile Units, ABB’s channel partners, and end users. You will be mainly accountable for:
* Developing and implementing impactful product marketing strategies for your assigned area/segment, defining compelling value propositions, and ensuring clear product positioning aligned with global strategy.
* Owning and achieving product marketing targets and budgets, proactively monitoring progress, and implementing improvement plans.
* Creating and executing the annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant teams, focusing on market growth.
* Developing and executing marketing strategies for digital offerings, translating technical features into customer benefits.
* Leading market analysis with sales, generating forecasts and plans based on research, market conditions, and competitor insights.
* Supporting sales with targeted materials and strategic guidance.
* Providing product knowledge training to sales and technical teams to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
* Collaborating to demonstrate how our digital and connected breaker portfolio helps customers in energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and smart energy management.
Qualifications for the Role
* Deep understanding of the low-voltage electrical distribution market, including digitalization and energy management trends.
* Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage circuit breakers.
* Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP) and IoT concepts in automation or energy management.
* Experience with cloud platforms and data analytics related to energy or electrical systems is a plus.
* Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts.
* Experience with PIM systems, marketing automation, CRM, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong problem-solving skills and innovative approach.
* Extensive knowledge of low-voltage distribution systems.
* Fluent communication skills in Spanish and English.
* Valid visa/work permit for Spain.
* Projects may include launching cloud-connected circuit breakers and developing technical marketing materials for Industry 4.0 integration.
