**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Develops and executes reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for products through the lifecycle.
- Drives cross-functional tasks and schedules for component, supplier, and product qualifications.
- Performs test and troubleshooting to debug defective product units, sub-assemblies, and process steps based on established testing plans; validates testing parameters and summarizes test results.
- Implements specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
- Initiates design improvements and documentation with the R&D;, Engineering, and operations teams to achieve continuous improvement.
- Develops understanding of relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing.
- Applies foundational principles and contributes proactively to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments.
- Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.
- Complete all product training requirements and recommend opportunities for internal or 3rd-party training that would increase professional skill level and value to the organization.
**Education & Experience** Recommended**
- Four-year Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in product design & development, or a related field.
