Overview
Location : Reus Granada Málaga or Sevilla.
We are looking for a passionate and skilled PostgreSQL / AlloyDB Database Expert to join our dynamic DevOps team. You will play a key role in delivering Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) solutions for the Magenta TV platform ensuring high availability performance and security of business-critical systems.
Tech Stack & Tools
* Databases : PostgreSQL AlloyDB
* Cloud : Google Cloud Platform (IAM DMS VPC Monitoring & Logging)
* Infrastructure : Terraform (IaC) Kubernetes
* Security & Backup : Cloud-native solutions for backup restore and disaster recovery
Your Responsibilities
* Operation monitoring and optimisation of PostgreSQL and AlloyDB databases
* Setting up maintaining and further developing backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies
* Performance analysis tuning and capacity planning
* Automation of recurring operational and administrative tasks (e.G. monitoring provisioning patching)
* Ensuring data integrity security and availability
* Supporting development projects in database design query optimisation and deployment processes
* Incident problem and change management within the ITIL process
* Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals
* Participation in on-call duty in 24 / 7 operation one week each one month and a half
Qualifications
* Proven experience with PostgreSQL and AlloyDB in production environments.
* Strong knowledge of Google Cloud tools and services.
* Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud monitoring / logging.
* Fluent English (minimum B1 level).
* Experience working in agile and DevOps teams.
* Prometheus good knowledge.
* Google monitoring tools Grafana will appreciate.
* Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
