**Job Description - Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Engineer**
**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
- Support network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory / Azure AD.
- Handle incident tickets, service requests, and problem management using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
- Perform routine maintenance, patch updates, and system upgrades.
- Ensure proper functioning of printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in IT asset management (inventory, deployment, recovery).
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams and coordinate resolution.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection regulations.
- Document technical solutions, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPNs, and remote desktop tools.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN).
- Knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant IT certifications such as:

- CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation
- **Spanish B2 level certification (mandatory).**:
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
**Contract Details**
- Duration: 1 year minimum (extendable up to 3-5 years).
- Type: Full-time, Onsite.
**Eligibility**

Pay: 32,000.00€ - 34,800.00€ per year
